Terms of service

Last updated: [date — PLACEHOLDER]

Draft, pending legal review. This is a starting template, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review and complete it before launch. Bracketed items are placeholders.

1. The service and who provides it

pagenull is an API that turns HTML, URLs and templates into PDF and image files, with a dashboard to manage it. It is provided by {{OPERATOR_NAME}}, a private individual, {{OPERATOR_ADDRESS}} (“we”), who runs it in their own name. pagenull is a product name, not a company. See the legal notice.

2. Accounts

You must keep your API keys secret and are responsible for usage under your keys. Business customers only [or: consumers too — decide; consumer law adds withdrawal rights].

3. Acceptable use

  • No rendering of content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or is used for phishing or fraud.
  • No attempts to reach internal networks, bypass limits, or degrade the service for others.
  • No reselling raw API access without a written agreement.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

Plans and prices are on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Refunds are covered by the refund policy. Paid plans are sold through Creem, our merchant of record: Creem is the seller for the payment, charges any VAT due and issues the invoice, and its checkout terms apply to the purchase. [Confirm with the lawyer how these terms and Creem’s fit together — PLACEHOLDER.] Operator VAT status: {{OPERATOR_VAT_STATUS}}. [Price change notice — PLACEHOLDER.]

5. Your content

You keep all rights to what you send and receive. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the DPA.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but give no SLA on Free and Starter plans. [Pro SLA — PLACEHOLDER.]

7. Liability

[Limitation of liability, indemnity — PLACEHOLDER for lawyer.]

8. Governing law

[Bulgarian law; courts of Sofia — PLACEHOLDER, confirm.]

9. Contact

help@pagenull.dev. Postal address for legal notices: {{OPERATOR_ADDRESS}}.
